The MB42X, a demonstration of our designers' love for the classic compact bookshelf speaker, is handsomely styled with simple contours and modern design cues, making it easy to place and blend into any room or decor. Its enhanced audio capability makes it a great fit with a wide range of usage scenarios, including living room stereo, home theater surround sound, office background music, or computer desktop sound.

Housed in a compact ported enclosure, the MB42X features a balanced woven carbon fiber woofer that delivers enhanced transient and impactful bass, and a high-performance silk dome tweeter for smooth treble and accurate imaging. The highly optimized 18dB crossover, with Zobel network and baffle step compensation, yields a transformed sound signature that is incredibly open, balanced, and dynamic.

The magnetic front grill system is easy to take off and put on, allowing users to showcase the incredibly handsome drivers by leaving the grills off for an ultra-clean front baffle. Full-size 5-way binding posts provide a complete range of speaker wire connectivity options, while hex screws are used throughout for assembly.
